Is this a diagnosis, or a screening tool?

No — and it's important to be straight about that. This is a self-knowledge tool, not a clinical instrument. It maps how seven executive-function systems are showing up for you right now, based on your own answers. It cannot tell you whether you have ADHD — only a proper evaluation with a qualified clinician can do that (a GP is a good starting point). What it can do is give you a clear, named picture of your patterns and strategies that fit them — which is useful whether or not a diagnosis is ever part of your story.

Do I need an ADHD diagnosis to use this?

No. It's designed for ADHD brains — diagnosed, self-identified, or still figuring it out. The patterns it maps are real, lived experiences, and the strategies work on the patterns, not on the paperwork.
